  • Consulting Expand

Before providing a solution to a customer, we tend to study the project description and documentation, and to understand the customer’s intentions and main focus. Our advice is based on a due-diligence analysis of weighted risks and possibilities, environmental impact, time frame, construction regulations and existing standards.consulting

Together with engineered project solutions, we provide visual materials such as 3D models for our ideas, so that customers can benefit from a better understanding of the building structure, interaction with other parts of a building and our range of solutions, and may well present them to the end customer.

Our objective is to deliver an optimally sized construction that serves the final goal of the project well.

  • Engineering design Expand

Building structures interact with many other parts, such as foundations, the facade, plumbing, and electrical and ventilation installations, so we understand the importance of experienced engineering designers who can integrate all these parts into one building model. That is where planning starts.

Engineering designOur engineering designers communicate with all project parties to ensure that everything will fit together well. It is also crucial to consider all mechanisms that will be used during the installation, as well as logistics and the installation itself.

Consideration of the environmental impact and the working environment is a MUST at all phases of the project’s implementation.

Details and calculations are worked out in a 3D environment, so the following benefits stand out:

    • Optimal solutions
    • Error-free details and calculations
    • Easier coordination and communication
    • Easier production planning
    • Integrated manufacturing

A digital representation of functional and physical characteristics called BIM (Building Information Modeling) enables us to have more control of time and cost during execution of the project.

  • Prefabricated components Expand

Our projects mainly consist of prefabricated components:Prefabricated components

    • Steel elements
    • Prefabricated concrete
    • Steel sandwich walls
    • Corrugated roof sheets

All of the construction components that we use have relevant certificates and material data sheets.
One of our group companies possesses a steel component factory, Marsalis Metall.

Extensive collaboration with product suppliers enables us to choose a suitable supplier for a particular project in terms of quality, reliability and location.

Our quality specialists are always involved in product checks, so that we can control the quality of components used in our construction.

  • Installation Expand

Marsalis Bygg Sverige installation team consist of more than 100 qualified installers, welders, project managers and construction site leaders.

To achieve a high assembly speed, we encourage our installation leaders, engineers and logistics managers to maintain a high level of communication, as well as using the benefits of BIM (Building Information Modelling).

We also have extensive experience of subcontractor management.2016-02-24 15.56.15

All our specialists possess the required certificates and knowledge of working properly and safely.
Proper documentation during a project’s execution is another big part of our work to which we pay special attention.

A group company, Ehitustehnika (with the brand name Viking Cranes), helps us to choose lifting equipment and delivers optimal lifting and auxiliary machinery for our projects.

  • Logistics Expand

Logistics_1Considering that a lot of heavy prefabricated components arrive from Baltic countries, it is crucial to have a deep understanding of logistics management.

Logistics planning is integrated with the design of construction components to maintain efficiency and leave the lowest impact on the environment.

Our logistics managers have extensive experience of working with Baltic and Scandinavian port operators and trucking companies.

Many of our projects are developed in city centres, so we need to plan our deliveries of construction components right on time, especially if no more than one truck may enter a construction site.
