Vattenfall Jordbro is a one of the largest thermal power stations in Sweden that produces heat and electricity from 100% biofuel. It is fueled by recycled wood, consisting of waste from the construction industry, but can also use other fuels. The boiler has a total capacity of 64 MW, 43 MW of heat and 20 MW of electricity. The Jordbro power plant delivers heat to around 33,000 houses and domestic electricity to about 6,500 homes.
