Askersund municipality had a vision of creating a center of knowledge and culture, a building that will serve as a gathering place and a catalyst for creativity, music, education and information. The goal was to create a building that, in addition to the school, also houses a multi-purpose hall with 500 seats for arts with a focus on music, dance and drama, and to incorporate the main library. KKC Askersund was created as a building that invites Askersund residents and make them feel part of this city’s community.
